Kunchok Tempa and Tsundue Gyamtso
Both from Kirti Monastery, who were sentenced to 3 years’ imprisonment
for allegedly pasting political posters. Kunchok Tempa was
arrested in January 2003 and Tsundue Gyatso somewhat later in mid-2004.
Both are thought to be imprisoned in Mong County and both are being
denied visiting rights by their respective families. There is concern
for their health and well-being.
